Adam was born in Charleston S.C. and raised in Winter Springs FL, outside of Orlando. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Central Florida. While there he was admitted to the President's list for two semesters, and the Dean's list for two semesters. He was awarded a summer fellowship in 2004 from the American Cancer Society. He gave an oral presentation at the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society in November 2004 on New Methodologies for the Modeling of Serine Proteases. He was admitted to the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and is currently in his second year of study. His current research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of novel Metallopolymers.
