My name is Sonia Nieto. I grew up in Gijon (Spain) and attended University of Oviedo. I obtained my PhD in chemistry under Dra. Lucia Riera and Dr. Julio Perez (2003-2006) working in synthesis of transition metal complexes and the study as anion receptors. I joined Dr. Anslyn's group in August 2006 as a postdoctoral fellow.
