My name is Leo Joyce. I grew up an avid Green Bay Packer fan deep in the heart of cheese country, and received my B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 2006. While at Wisconsin I worked in Dr. Sam Gellman’s lab synthesizing b2-amino acids via proline-catalyzed aminomethylation of aldehydes. I am currently working on incorporating metals into a colorimetric assay for determination of enantiomeric excess
