REID LONG

My name is Reid Long and I grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas. I attended North Hopkins ISD before coming to the University of Texas at Austin. At UT, I worked with Dr. J.J. Lagowski on the synthesis of transtition metal complexes. In 2007, I graduated with a BA in Plan II Honors and a BS in Chemistry. Now as a graduate student in the Eric Anslyn lab, I work on using molecular biology and organic chemistry to synthesize protein based sensors
