Ben hails from Louisville, KY and received his B.S. in Chemistry at Vanderbilt in 2004.  Working under Prof. David Cliffel, he conducted research that involved the analysis of monolayer protected clusters (a type of nanoparticle).  In the Stevenson group, his research focuses on the electrodeposition of new mixed metal oxides for use as electrode materials in various applications. Outside of the lab, Ben enjoys reading about current events, going to the gym, and watching movies.
