Cori is from Los Altos, CA.  She completed her BS in Environmental Chemistry at the University of California, San Diego in 2004.  Cori remained in San Diego for a couple years working for D-Max Engineering, a small environmental consultancy firm focused on the quality of local stormwater runoff.  She joined the Stevenson group here at UT in 2006, where she works on the synthesis and characterization of metallic nanoparticles on carbon and other electroactive support materials.  Outside of research, Cori enjoys running and triathlons, and explaining that Burning Man is not at all the same thing as Birmingham.
